Whidbey Wine Cellar

Join Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce for Whidbey Wine Cellar; An evening to benefit CADA of Island County.

We will have tastings from Whidbey Island restaurants and sips featuring local wineries and breweries, music provided by a DJ, and opportunities to win prizes. Some of the featured auction/raffle items include a ride in a limo, a massage from OHM, various gift certificates, an instant wine cellar, and 99 bottles of beer.

Purple Light Nights

CADA has partnered with businesses in Downtown Oak Harbor to show support for survivors of domestic violence by displaying purple lights all October long. Through communal support we would like to

  • Honor those who have lost their lives

  • Show support for survivors in our community

  • Bring hope to those still experiencing abuse

While visiting Downtown Oak Harbor viewing the purple lights we ask that you take action this month for domestic violence by reflecting on your own relationship and supporting survivors of domestic violence. If you are experiencing abuse please reach out to CADA.

Feel Free to take a photo of the purple lights and tag us on social media.

Take A Stand

2_edited.jpg

CADA has partnered with local coffee shops in Island County to show support for survivors of domestic violence by using customized coffee sleeves all October. Through communal support we would like to Take A Stand. This is a call to action meant to bring attention to the issue of domestic violence. By taking a stand we intend to remind the nation that there are still countless people--victims and survivors, their children and families, their friends and family, their communities--impacted by domestic violence.  We, all of us, should not stop until society has zero tolerance for domestic violence and until all victims and survivors can be heard.

While taking a sip of your morning coffee we ask that you take a stand this month for domestic violence by checking on someone. If you know someone are experiencing abuse please encourage them to reach out to CADA.

Feel Free to take a photo of your coffee sleeve and tag us on social media.
